Civic Engagement Design: Running for Children Lives Cambodia 2019
As part of my Civic Engagement Design project for the Public Administration course, I addressed the issue of inadequate access to free healthcare for children in 25 cities and provinces in Cambodia. I served as a Fundraising and Communication Strategic Advisor for a solo run from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, covering 198 miles over ten days in December 2019. My role involved public relations tactics, media relations, social media planning, and creating a Facebook Fundraising page, which raised USD 8,256 remotely from the US.
